As you will have seen on our calendar, the school Prize Giving is this Wednesday 2nd December.

As you have probably already heard, our students have been busy preparing for our annual Arts and Cultural Evening. Every class has prepared a special item to perform and we also have some school-wide groups.
We invite you to come and celebrate with us as we showcase the talent and hard work of our students.
Arts and Cultural Evening
Wednesday 18th November
The weather has cleared and we are going ahead with out athletics day today, please come in PE gear with a hat and sunscreen. The events will start at 10am to allow time for the field to dry out.
Today's trip to Tree Adventures for rooms 5 and 6 has been postponed due to unsafe weather conditions. We will send out information about the replacement date as soon as we have organised this with the venue.

We look forward to seeing everyone on Monday, while we are level 2.
Last time we had some congestion when picking up children at the end of the day. Please consider:
- letting your children walk home
- picking up a 10minutes later
- parking on the street
- Using the back gate.
A couple of things to remember:
Sick children must remain at home.
Handwashing, sneeze etiquette and physical distancing (Moist breath Zone) apply.
We will have hand sanitiser and be cleaning surfaces regularly.

It was a big relief to hear we are moving back to Alert Level 2 at the beginning of next week. We look forward to welcoming all our students and staff back onsite at that time!

You will have heard that the government has extended the Level 3 lockdown until August 26.
The school will continue to operate at level 3 for the next eight school days.
We will be open for students of essential workers, or students that do not have appropriate supervision at home.
The office will also be available for those that need information or to collect a Chromebook for distance learning.
Please remember to:
- use the hand sanitiser on entry
- sign in using the QR code or register

You will have heard that Auckland returns to Level 3 tomorrow. For schools, this takes effect from the start of the day.
The school will be closed for all, except children of essential workers. Please keep your child/ren home, for the rest of the week, unless you are an essential worker and need to go to work.
The school will be reinstating all level 3 procedures for those students that are returning.

At this stage the government has announced that Auckland schools will be at level 3 for the rest of the week. Because we do not know what will happen after that, we have decided to prepare for distance learning again.
If your child needs a device for home use, please come and pick one up from the school office. This will need to be brought back to school on the first day they return at level 2 or 1.
We will be running a one in, one out system for the office. The office will be open for collects from 8:30am.
